There’s an evil monkey living in my closet.

We went to the NC Zoo this past Saturday and who ever designed that place should be shot.  Somehow, they managed to make it UP HILL BOTH WAYS!  We started on the African side and for about the first 3/4 of the 8 mile trek, the walk was up hill.

The animals and stuff were pretty cool and of course my favorite part was the monkeys.  Monkeys are awesome.  The only thing better than a money is a Ninja Monkey.  Jenna liked the Puffins, which I guess are artic bird kind of like penguins but they can actually fly.

Overall it was a good trip but I don’t plan on going back until we have a kid who is old enough to walk the whole thing without me having to carry him/her.

.. are not going up today.  There was a small issue with the electritian that didn’t get worked out in time for him to finish yesterday.  He will hopefully finish today so I plan to take pictures tomorrow, weather permitting.

People looked at the house (again)

Different folks this time. Fingers are crossed.

The house on Mount Valley is sold. It goes to contract June 15th. That is one less house to compete with.

I came home and found that the buyer’s agent left the curtains open. Slight dissapointment. We are not sweating just yet! Our open house is this weekend. Our house will sell, after all; we have a St. Joseph!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!

Today I spent the day with my mom. It is the 1st Mother’s day in seven years that we celebrated together. We shopped till we dropped, snacked at CPK and then shopped some more. My dad and his mother joined Jason, my Mom and I for dinner at Taverna Agora. An excellent restuarnt might I add.

We didn’t get to go and see the new house today, but 2 more flyers are missing from our box. Keeping our fingers crossed to sell the house sooner than later!

It finally happened!  We had our first viewer last night.  We should find it in a day or two what they thought of the house.  Hopefully it will all be good.

Pictures are Up

I’ve added all of the pictures we have so far.  A total of 137!  We will be going out this weekend to check things out but the plumbers, electrician and HVAC wont be finished until Tuesday.  The plumbers decided to try to give us a tub instead of a shower in the master bath.  Once they get that fixed we will take new pictures.  So new pictures will go up Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully.

It’s finally finished.  The last few days have been spent trying to get two sites up and running.  This one still needs work, but I’m calling it quits on the other one for now.  Check it out here: http://8522brightloop.com/  It’s basically just an information site about the our house so that people will be able to see better (and by better I mean larger) pictures of the rooms.  Please let me know if you find anything that doesn’t work right or needs adjusting.

The New House

Construction on the new house started a couple weeks ago and they have already laid the foundation and put up the frame.  This week they are supposed to have plumbing, HVAC and electrical in the do their parts.  I will be posting pictures as quick as I can but I already have over 100 so it might take me a few days to get them all posted.
