Ireland and the UK

Sometime in 2013 I decided I wanted to take a trip. I had saved up money, gotten a little more from an inheritance, and sold a few collectibles, and I wanted to do something fun. I had just gotten divorced at 36 years old and didn’t know what else to do with my time or money. I had always wanted to go to Ireland and decided it was time for an adventure.

It started out simple at first. Of course that quickly changed. What started out as a vacation to Ireland started to become a trip to Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland. At Christmas my cousin told me she really wanted to come with me for the Ireland portion of the trip. From there we started making plans on places to go and things to see. We would spend two weeks together (the most time we had spent together in many years, possibly ever) traveling the country. Then I would be on my own to finish up Ireland, and make my way to three more countries over a two week period.
