There were a few reasons I wanted to stop in Wales. The main one being so that I could nerd out in Cardiff and see the Doctor Who Experience and go on a tour of the city. Other reasons were more boring, like wanting to have a travel break between Ireland and London, and being able to say I’ve been to Wales.
Wales was a pretty cool place and the people that I interacted with were nice. Unlike in Northern Ireland where the people were extremely indifferent. I wish I had been able to spend a little more time in Wales to see more than just Cardiff, but I achieved my main goal and that’s the important part.
